good morning

2nd day of going to work at 8am - i'm the first one in the office again today, because the receptionist, pearl, isnt at this branch so i'm supposed to be taking over, but that's just for today. hopefully no one will call/come and inquire about a place here and i can load my youtube in peace heh :P

this is a day that the Lord has made, i will rejoice and be glad in it
(and not be crabby and stone like i was yesterday)

i realise i haven't worn sneakers in ages

catch a falling star and put it in your pocket

it has been a classmateweekend (:
ytd had mini class thing with elly jean and kopi plus elly's guest benny. we just ate loads and wandered around town doing absolutely nothing, but it was fun.

and today was MovieDay at jean's house
we watched love actually, the holiday and edward scissorhands, two chick flicks and one by tim burton heh. i really liked edward scissorhands, johnny depp was so good (as usual) and i must say the holiday was better than i expected. elly was busy drooling over jude law throughout the holiday :P and i ate LOADS this weekend, loads of junk food ><

people are contradictory
take me for example
i'd griped and complained (LOTS) about all the scholarship boards which only bother to glance at applications that contain 4As and insisted that they should choose people based on something more than academics alone. and now that i'm getting a shot at the smu biz school scholarship i'm scared because academic results supposedly dont count for anything. so this time i'm gonna actually have to do something to impress the board, not that my results would impress anyway. hmm

my blogger account is filling up with unpublished drafts filled with words unspoken, like a squirrel's carefully hoarded nuts. but that's due to laziness, really. or being caught using blogger on the office computer.

one day i'll know all the right things to say and do at the right time, i will.

today is a perfect day for napping
everything is asleep inside my mind
except these thoughts.

i've got a date with angee later! we're going to watch the fund raising play shums and the others organised (:

weekends are like marshmallows
fluffy fun and a good break from work
although my marshmallow keeps getting squashed cos weekends are so busy too
